A mineral formula led by micronised zinc oxide, physically reflecting UV rather than absorbing it, with a flat, powdery finish that holds through humidity without the chalky grey most mineral sunscreens leave behind. Calming on inflamed skin, which matters, because post-acne marks are made permanently worse by unprotected sun.

Is it drying?
It's mattifying, not stripping. If your skin feels tight, you're likely over-cleansing before it, not over-mattifying after.
Can I use it over acne treatment?
Yes, and you should. Benzoyl peroxide, retinoids and acids all make skin more sun-sensitive, and zinc oxide is the calmest filter to put over inflamed skin.
Why is it more than the Hydra Gel?
Micronised mineral filters cost more to formulate at this finish than chemical ones. We'd rather explain that than quietly thin the formula to match.
