PDRN
A DNA-fragment active associated with repair and elasticity, promising, and honestly still young as a topical.
What it actually does
PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a purified DNA fragment, classically derived from salmon, that signals tissue repair, supporting fibroblast activity, hydration and elasticity. It earned its reputation in clinical and post-procedure settings, largely in Korean dermatology, where it is used by injection. Topical PDRN is newer territory: the early data on barrier recovery and elasticity is encouraging, but it is fair to say the strongest evidence still belongs to the in-clinic form, and a brand that tells you otherwise is ahead of the science.
What the evidence says about dose
Topically, formulation matters more than a headline percentage. PDRN is a large molecule, and delivery systems decide how much reaches living skin.

With hyaluronic acid and ceramides in barrier-repair and post-procedure routines; with niacinamide for general resilience.
