This notice is written under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It is meant to be read, not survived, so it says what we actually do rather than everything we might one day be permitted to do.
Who we are
DavaniQ Pharma Pvt. Ltd. is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. That means we decide what is collected and why, and we are the ones answerable for it.

We do not collect more than this, and we do not collect anything just in case.
The skin quiz
Quiz answers are processed in your browser and are not sent to us or stored on our servers. We don't ask for an email address to show you the result, and we don't build a profile from it.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep the basket, the checkout and your login working. They carry no permission because the site cannot function without them, and offering a choice that isn't real only teaches people to distrust the rest of the banner.
Analytics is different, and it is off until you say yes. Refuse, or simply never answer, and the analytics script is never loaded and no analytics cookie is ever written. Accept, and Google Analytics measures which pages are read and roughly where from, pseudonymously.
You can change that answer at any time, from the Cookie settings control at the foot of every page. Withdrawing is one click, the same as giving it was, and it deletes the analytics cookies already on your device rather than merely noting your change of mind.
Consent, and taking it back
Where we rely on your consent, you gave it by a clear, affirmative act: ticking a box, submitting a form, or accepting analytics. We never treat silence, a pre-ticked box, or continued browsing as consent.
You can withdraw consent at any time, and it is as easy as giving it was. Unsubscribe is one click at the bottom of every letter. For anything else, write to info@davaniqpharma.com and say what you are withdrawing.
Withdrawing does not undo what we lawfully did before you withdrew, and it does not erase records the law requires us to keep, such as tax invoices. We will tell you plainly which is which rather than refusing in general terms.
Who else touches your data
Only these, only what each needs, and nobody else:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Some of the above process data outside India, which the Act permits except to countries the Central Government restricts by notification; we will update this notice if a processor we use becomes affected.

When the purpose is served and no law requires us to keep it, we erase it, and we ask our processors to do the same.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. We don't email you because you once looked at a product page. We don't run behavioural advertising, we don't buy lists, and we don't enrich what you gave us with anything bought from elsewhere.
Your rights
Under the Act you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with
- Correct, complete, update or erase it
- Withdraw consent, as easily as you gave it
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapacitated
- Complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India
Write to info@davaniqpharma.com. We respond within thirty days. The Act does not set that period; it is our own promise, and it is written here so you can hold us to it.
The Act also asks something of you: that you do not impersonate someone else when making a request, do not suppress material information, and do not file frivolous complaints. There are penalties for that, and they are yours rather than ours.
Children
This site is intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Where we do process a child's personal data, we will obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian first. We do not track children, serve them behavioural advertising, or do anything likely to have a detrimental effect on a child's wellbeing.
If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to info@davaniqpharma.com and we will delete it.
If something goes wrong
If a breach affects your personal data we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person without undue delay, in the form the Act requires. We will tell you what happened, what data was involved, what we have done and what you should do — in plain language, not a legal notice.

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. If we have not resolved it to your satisfaction, you can escalate to the Data Protection Board of India for anything concerning your personal data, or to the consumer authorities for anything concerning an order.
Changes
We change this notice when what we do changes. The date at the top is the date of the last change. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you rather than rely on you noticing.
